Editorial Fashion

Photography is essential in the world of fashion. A fashion photographer must know the styles, concepts and trends, knowing how to capture the essence of a fashion show, the style of the model or the strategy of a brand. Fashion photography is much more than a model posing with garments from the latest collection of a specific brand or showing the most groundbreaking trend of the moment.

Accesories, clothes, makeup and clothing are the key for this type of photography because everything has to make sense as a whole and in this is what the fashion editorial is based on.

Photography for editorials are productions that are made for magazines, supplements and fashion catalogs. Over the years, the photography has evolved and therefore fashion photography as well. The fashion editorial has developed its own aesthetic, where garments, accesories and others there are not the only protagonists. The stories, the places and the atmosphere must be well chosen to do a good job of the whole.

In this photoshoot the model was so special because she was a lot of personality. We wanted to highlight this aspect of her instead of clothes por example, and in the first image she has the light from above that she is looking at with that expression, the pose and clothes that are subtly appreciated and that are transparent and I think that creates an atmosphere so individual and maybe also angelic in some way but with this makeup and enviroment so dark that it transmit the two sides of the coin so beutifully united. 

In the second image everything is different from the previous one, she has a expression on her face so strong looking directly to the camera, the pose is calm but firm and she is only wearing a lace bra, it is like she just looks at you and says: "Hey, what are you looking at". So cool.
